THE FIFTH IN THE PARANORMAL CRIME SERIES

“Steve, you can’t tell me? What's the big freaken mystery? For God's sake, I am your wife. I would like to know where you are going.”

The man was silent while he packed his bag, leaving for an unknown destination. His holster was filled with a thirty-eight. This is the first time I ever saw him dressed to kill.

"Barb, you know I can't tell you a anything. Get off my back. Deal with it."

Steve’s pager went off, practically vibrating off the dresser. Pressing the buttons, "Gotta go. You know the drill. I'll call you when I can. "

I questioned my husband.  "Is Gwen going with you?"

Ignoring my need for more information,  "I'll call."

Steve left without saying goodbye.  Gwen, his ex-girl friend, was going to be with him.  Germany is the name of the mission they were going on.  Steve and Gwen were partners before.  Steve and Gwen were lovers before.  Trouble is brewing.

In another compelling addition to her series, Accused brings us back into the world of the living and the dead. As accusations spew from the mouths of the prosecutors, the defendants stand trial for those allegations. They are forced to defend their innocence, or perhaps, be crucified for the evil they have committed.

As the main character, Barbara, finds herself struggling with a troubled marriage.  Her vulnerability is magnified, when she is thrown into another paranormal investigation with Vinny, at a bed and breakfast.  Will they cross the line that separates friends from lovers?

While at a hometown fair, Barbara felt as if someone was following her.  Escaping to an alley, she comes upon an open door, hoping to seek refuge until she can find her way back to the car.  Here is where she is warned to watch her step.  And, here is where she comes in contact with yet, another spirit.
